  • thank you for sharing. anyone know the pros and cons of choosing a ragdoll over a similar breed like the maine coon?

  • I have owned both kinds. . similar in nature. Ragdolls are laid backt. Ragdolls love to be held want to be around people. maine coons are inedependent, they will attack if they are threatened. Ragdolls are less likely to attack should never be left outside. Radgolls fur is softer i ve often wanted to see if a ragdoll co-exist with a maine coon cat. They are about the same size.

  • I like Sophie, she's such a pretty cat.

  • She has a personality that is unbelievable! She is very, very lovable, and always in your face. She is always very affectionate.

  • GREAT VIDEO ON RAGDOLLS

  • Thank you!

  • Is Sophie Blue Mitted?

  • They sound like my perfect cat,

  • They sound a lot like maine coons

  • I had a very fluffy calico that was like these. We thought it weird. I wonder if she was a mix? We just found her in my older sisters complex. We called her 'pose-able kitty' because she would go limp when we held her and let us move her limbs and say like that. But she was not colored like a rage doll. Fur looks dead on. She got beat up by other cats often, but my step mother refused to have a indoor 'potty' cat.

  • Thanks for the video, your narration was so soothing for some reason :) Watching the beautiful cats and listening to your voice was very calming <3

  • I'm trying to convince my parents to let me get a ragdoll cat, but they hate the hair flying everywhere in the air and in the food and stuff. I've read on some websites that ragdoll cats shed les than other cats, is this true?

  • I have a seal bi-color Ragdoll called Miss Phoebe and she runs our house and heart - she is 16-1/2 yrs old and is retired as a show cat... Luv her to bits xx

  • @mariannachan I have a Ragdoll, I've never met a Birman but I would say go for the Ragdoll mine is honestly the sweetest, most loving cat ever. If you like a cat you can carry around all the time like a baby and one who will wait for you outside the bathroom door then a Ragdoll is for you. I know a Ragdoll is bigger than a Birman (they are one of the largest breeds) and their coats may be more satisfactory if you like a cat that doesn't shed or matt much. Hope that helps!

  • No offence but, I seriously think your cats could do with a little grooming. Having said that they are both adorable and would scrub up nicely! I have a Ragdoll too and she has all the qualities you describe.
