1986: Abano Terme Tournament

A historic match final at Abano Terme (PD)Italy in 1986 between ISAC Castelfranco Veneto and Rangers Kayak Polo Padova, both from the Veneto region. This was the 3rd and last national tournament held at Abano Terme near the Venetian city of Padova. The game was played according to the 'Italian Rules' where the ball could be hit and propelled only with the use of the paddle. The tournament was won three years in a row by 'ISAC' Canoa Club Castelfranco from Castelfranco Veneto. Second classified for three years in a row were Rangers Kayak Polo Padova from Padova and third classified for three years in a row were Natisone Kayak Club from Manzano from the Friuli Region of Italy.
