Another "speeded up"-clip. Today from the landing at London-Corbin airport in Kentucky, United States. ICAO KLOZ and FAA LOZ.
This time also flying the "holiday-machine" PC-12, registered OH-ONP on my journey to the States and back, originated from Helsinki, Finland. The video is from the 13th leg of the tour.
The flight departed from Eagle Greek-airport in Indianapolis, Indiana. Video starts from about 15-20nm from the top of descent, cruising down on airway V310 and at 17 000ft. We proceed with standard descent-procedures, heading towards LOZ-VOR for ILS-approach to runway 06. Later during the descent we received new weather info, and decided to reclear ourselves to visual approach to runway 06, joining the traffic circuit on the crosswind-leg. It was such a nice weather that why not to enjoy the views of London ;). Though one reason was the fact that the default-AFCAD-file didn't include the ILS...
Approach was flown with autopilot to the LOZ-VOR, then the rest was flown by hand. You can see pretty clearly the flying trough the traffic circuit down to smooth touchdown and taxi to the ramp and shutdown. Though bit low on the base, but we did stay inside VFR-minimas.
