this is the new motor for my monte it consists of eagle 385 stroker kit lunati 60105 cam 461 camel hump heads edlebrock performer intake manifold edlebrock 500 cfm carb moroso racing high volume oil pump and kicked out 7 quart pan proform noisy mechanical timing gears full length headers flowmaster super 40s 2.25" true duals no cats msd street fire distributor and more to come

Hey man nice engine, what headers r u using, i have an 81 monte carlo with a 350 and i am still in the process of deciding what headers to use and how much work it will be to put them in with the size of the engine compartment. if u could message me i would appreciate it.

WOW! no offense man, its a great looking engine...but when those piston crowns melt from it being too lean as a lack of fuel....dont be surprised! that 500 edelbcrock is WAY too small! not only is it only a 500, edelbrock measures airflow dry, with no fuel, while holley and demon measure wet.... this means it actually flows even LESS than 500, as some of that 500cfm is taken up by fuel! Be careful dude!

Is there any reason why you run such a small carb? I run this same cam in my 406 and run an 850 dbl pumper with a 2 inch spacer. Pulls like a freight train!
