Thanks for posting this great video! Around 1983 or so the Drongos were huge with the college crowd in Albany. But during the summer they would head to New York City, and they often played free concerts at lunchtime in the park at One Liberty Plaza, in the shadow of the World Trade Center. Great memories.

a friend i took to see the drongos at tin pan alley of blessed memory exclaimed after tow songs "3 homely guys and a white chick who can't dance!" boy, do i miss the drongos! anybody got video of 'non-citizen"?

Excellent band, I remember hanging with them during a rain storm during an HVCC picnic. yeah

The club in Albany was 288 Lark Street (not 228). 288 was a great club and the Drongos were a terrific, fun band. They were staples of the Albany punk/indie scene from 1980-1982 or so.....

Used to love the drongos back in college. They had two great albums...

Shame about the first half...nice to see the Drongos after all these years. They used to play Ithaca frequently - in fact, I'm sure I've seen Stan Mitchell wear the same shirt he's wearing in this video!
OhMIGOD! Is this Stan MITCHELL's band - OMIGOD!
