A monthly series highlighting specific issues in Sen. McCain's anti-choice record. In this edition, Amber and Andrea play Sorry! with McCain's anti-birth control record. (He voted against requiring insurance companies that cover Viagra to also cover birth control).

Hmm but the funny thing is, McCain's also voted to completely de-fund family-planning programs that provide birth control for those who don't have insurance. Sooo, really, he's eliminating all of our options here.

One month of my birth control pills, a common brand, at sticker price would cost $60 a month. For many women that's more than they can afford. And most women also can't afford to pay for their own insurance outside of what's provided by their work.
Viagra is a drug that helps men remain in control of their reproduction and sexuality. Prescription birth control does the same for women. Companies should cover both or neither. To do otherwise is blatant sexism.

You can get all the birth control you need from sources outside your insurance company anyways...you are just playing political games.

Private insurance companies should decide how they want to run themselves. You don't want the goverment telling you what to do with your body. The private company doesn't want the government telling it what it can and can't do.
McCain isn't again birth-control, he is just against telling people how to run their own business.
You are just trying to make a contrived point for political gain.
Only an uninformed electorate would fall for this.
