We also say Kaval to this shepherd flute in Turkish and the playing style is very same. You can hear it in every town of Anatolia. I think this may end the Hungarian-Romanian conflict for a while.

hejj de szép hangú kaval.
a Somogyinak F hangolásban tán van ekkora remegő mélysége, de nem kavalnak híjjuk ugye.. :)
van itt valaki belső somogyból rajtam kívül?
én most találtam meg a régi furulyáimat a vályogház padlásán. még a papám papájáé is megvan! gyönyörűek :)

@Bebe98ist Nem, ez egy kaval. A tilinkón nincs lyuk, csak az végén 1.

The Romanians were Hungarianized mercilessly for 800 years, including with the last wave of anti-Romanian discrimination laws and genocides, during Horty's fascist regime of Northern transylvania.
The Ceangai are simply Romanians who were Hungarianized.
Read what hungarian fascists were reccomnding in Ducso Csaba's "No Mercy": things like "kill even the baby from the Vlach (Tomanian) mother."

@Romanisipunctum Did you hear about the interaction of the cultures, dear?
the romanians borrowed much much more tunes and dances from the hungarians then the hungarians from the romaians folk. This case you are right.

This sounds much like my heart stirring in the forest...Away from all sheep, alone.
@Romanisipunctum The Csangos were under a huge effect of the roman folkmusic, but sitll tuday they have hungarian tunes and songs. This tune has romanian origin. But that is not stealing. I heared romanians singing hungarians tunes. And I was happy that they liked it. And I did not thingk they were thives.
