Video clip showing proper form of the incline dumbbell press exercise for chest. This variation of the basic dumbbell press is a great mass builder also, just another twist to keep your muscles guessing. If you dont have an incline bench you can make one by securely tying a 2x8 to a coffeetable as I have done here. This exercise is best done with a spotter. If you are working out alone, use lighter weight and higer reps for safety. As with any dumbbell exercise, form is key if you want to maximize your muscle building efforts and minimize the chance of injury. Don't use too much weight, if you can't do the exercise slowly then you need to go lighter. Count aloud "one onethousand, two onethousand, three onethousand" on the way up and the way down, if you cant do this on this exercise then you are using too much weight. The reason this exercise method maximizes your muscle growth is because it confines the motion to the muscle you are trying to work out, if your body squirms, swings, and kicks, all you are doing is taking the focus away from the muscle you are trying to exercise. Anyone can be healthier, have more energy, sleep better, and feel better about themselves through bodybuilding. Bodybuilding doesn't have to be expensive or take a lot of time, gyms are great but home workouts can save you time and money. A cheap dumbbell set from a garage sale or walmart is all it takes to get started with your home workouts. Sorry, I'm going to turn comments off on this video as there are too many people calling each other "stupid". People, you need to be nice to each other. You can call ME stupid all you want but dont call other posters stupid. Just because someone has a different opinion doesnt make them stupid, and even if they are you need to find a nice way to tell them without hurting their feelings.

what exercise can u do for your lower chest?
EbopAllDay 3 years ago
As I say in the video, do not worry about that. Just do a good complete chest workout and give each exercise 110%

In the back of my protein whey powder container, it states something rather interesting. It says: Take one scoop for athletes before workout with milk or water, or for serious bodybuilders expecting staggering results, mix with high calorie foods such as peanut butter and milk. Okay, I know that peanut butter is EXTREMELY fattening, so what is this supposed to mean, since "serious bodybuilders" have a very low body fat percentage.

Hey Muhsroomhead, That is a perfect example of a product to avoid - one making ridiculous claims. No whey protein powder can possibly have anything to do with "staggering gains". Please buy a respectable, no nonsense whey protein. Well, they do have a point. If you mix dairy whey with peanut butter and eat it all day long you WILL gain lots of mass but it will be ALL FAT AND NO MUSCLE!

musculus pectoralis minor... the muscle between your shoulder blade and the chest
musculus mectoralis major devided in two separate parts both emerging from the upper arm
the one part to the keybone(uper part)
the other part to the sternum (lower part)
so there is something as a lower and a upper chest... to those idiotic responses there are actually three distinct parts that can be trained during an chest workout :OP so scooby is certainly no idiot

Hey luzi29,
I appreciate you setting the record straight on the physiology of the chest muscles. Rather than try to explain to people that there is no "inner chest" muscle that gives better cleavage, I usually opt for the "do a complete array of exercises and give each 110%"
