@Erlendds Believe me, it's pretty easy to distinguish the noise of a 5.56 round and 7.62 calibre being fired, in the army we even used to make tests to see who could distinguish the noise of different weapons, we stood in a camp near a hill and on the oher side we had a few guys firing a 9mm uzi, 9mm walter pistol, a G3 (7.62), and another G3 using 5.56...

@xxxCRAZYLOVExxx some G3 may still be used by the German special forces for a sharpshooter or designated marksman rifle, or even some sniper teams. like how some US forces like the SEALs are still using some m-14s

WTF kinda crack are you people smoking?? even with a lower load in bullet weigh... Recoil is the same. regardless I fire Blanks with my PTR and live rounds are NO different.. he's just a well trained soldier.
