with creativity it can be quite cheap. parable box fr $1 store; desert box fr walmart clear plastic box; god's people fr cut out cardboard or craft store etc if want idea can correspond with me and will show you sample. friend collected material as she teaches each week gradually build up the room.
if you tell the kids it desert box, then sandstorm will unlikely happened in the classroom ^ ^ all the best! Great material to inspire kids/adult spiritually

I am curious about two things about Godly play. Firstly, is it very expensive? if my church were to pick this up for Sunday school next year how much would it cost to get a years supplies? Also do kids really sit still for this They don't grab at the sand or throw the pieces around or the like?
