It looks like this person is using a lens that is too big for this type of filming.

Both of you guys are right! All the sharpness and depth o fields are missing. It must be the person, but sometimes a precise macro lens could save the day.

I think a macro lens is in order for this type of shooting. It's good but for some the focus just isn't there.
