Starting out, should you let people know you are new at this and what is a reasonable going rate per hour or per event. Thanks

When you're hired for parties, are you only there to face paint or do you provide entertainment as well like games etc...?

Lisa, do your customers sign "wavers" - allowing their children to be face painted or releasing your from any skin irritation their kids might develop? Or do you have a blanket waiver that the host/hostess signs? You did mention insurance in a previous video... who writes policies for this type of business?
Love your videos & am addicted... you keep me up late! Thank you for your time! ChristineM

Thank yo so much!!! you are a sweet heart!!!
What do u wear to ur parties or events? I seen that face painters show up as clowns does that benefit them more

@eimmat05 I just wear my normal clothes and a black apron with my company logo. I find that a lot of people don't really like clowns anymore, but (if you're a woman) you can dress up like a fairy. Families will pay more for a dressed up character. I don't do it because I find that the extra time it takes me to get ready (plus the effort of having to play a character) isn't worth the extra cash.
