  • @sangstar1 While it is true that comets are made of mostly ice, that does not mean 100% water, there are other elements like Biken stated. Comets are commonly referred to as "dirty snowballs".

Size played a part in why the comet survived such temperatures. It was originally thought to be around 200m, but since it survived, all it meant was that the comet was a little larger than previously thought, perhaps around 500m.

  • @sangstar1 Outside of your obvious attempt to pump your own ego, the exact composition of a comet is not the issue here. (And yes, you are straw-manning both Dr Morrison and biken with your snowball diatribe.) The issue is this: Doomsayers, such as Alex Retrov and TerralO3, made significant claims of disaster upon Earth on the big alignment date in Sept, 2011. There was also a litany of other assorted disaster claims. Those claims FAILED. It's that simple.

  • @sangstar1

I assume you must be deaf, so I'll spell out exactly what he says:

"When it gets close to the Sun, the heat outgasses material, water vapour, carbon dioxide, dust..."

Does he say it's just ice and water? No. Material, carbon dioxide, dust. Is that clear enough for you? As I said, it's a correct description with no use of the word 'snowball'. Is any of this beginning to penetrate your skull? It sure is hard work.

  • @bikenbeer2000Remember comet love joy survived a 2,000,000 Million degrees massive temperature. Logic dictates that ice and water would vaporise in an instant if comet Love Joy was Ice and Water as David Morrison pointed out in this video. click on 0:35 listen to what he says comets are. Remember also that you may have a PHD but I know more than you so thank you for your comments and accepting MY FACTS that comets are not snowball. You may now applause

  • @StonerXXL I didn't say I 'believe in' NASA, nor government, nor the Easter Bunny. You're putting words in my mouth. I simply asked a question: Months AFTER the doomsayer failure, do you think he's wrong about Elenin? I'll also add: If so, what, specifically, is he wrong about?

  • @ThreeFangCat go on believing in NASA then.... u also believe in the government? what about the easter bunny?

  • @sangstar1

As I said, I never gave an opinion on comets, I gave an opinion on Dr. Morrison's statement. There is a difference.

Not only that, but Dr. Morrison gave a correct description of a comet and never used the word 'snowball'.

    Who's the liar now?

  • @sangstar1

I haven't given an opinion on claims that comets are just snowballs. If you think I have, in which comment was it?

You are doing a great job of upholding the bad name of conspiracy claimants by making things up and throwing insults around. Could it be because you still have no coherent arguments?

  • @bikenbeer2000 Anyone that stand by the claims that comets are just snowball is an idiot and you should know that I am talking here of all the comets including comet Love Joy. What you should do is to roll your PHD degree roll it and tick it were all bad science belong, up yours.

  • @StonerXXL Really? Months AFTER the failure of the doomsayers and you still think he's wrong about Elenin?
