In 1983, when this shit first aired, it was a cultural revolution. For most of us, only a year earlier, we had access to 4 TV stations. "Alice", "The Jeffersons", "60 Minutes", and "One Day at a Time". That's what we saw on TV. And then cable came to town, and we were exposed to anarchist rock-n-roll tripe.
God Bless cable TV and the 80's. We dont put out! (but we did!)

I love this movie. I used to watch it over and over during a late night program called Night Flight. Then I had a crappy copy on vhs from the tv.
They really need to release it as a dvd.

Who has a bootleg they can copy for me. I must have this.

i love this film too. but the truest (& my favorite) part of the entire movie is at the very end--when these "non-confomists" completely sell out w/ their mainstream glossy MTV styled video. LOL! which is soooo true about the music industry--angry alternative rebel one day, rich pop-chart pop-tart the next.

This is my favorite scene <3 Thanks so much for sharing it!

yeah, it's my fave scene too, almost as good as diane lane's expression of awe on her face when she's first watching the band perform at the club in the beginning. totaly heart this film!!!
