sure there are bad apples and useless ones, but there are bad apples in every group... to tarnish all 8,000+ because of a few bad apples is the same as labelling all Maori on the dole, which is far from the truth. The P in FTP should be changed to Politicians, they are responsible for a lot of crap that happens nowadays.

When I was young I had experiences with the police that made me a little bitter, however ,I now realise why, at times they get intolerant & unreasonable,some of the attitudes posted here,& the video itself, explains the difficulty & impossibility of always being the 'nice guys'.

@jetsta the video is not about being unhappy in the job, it is about helping ignorant ppl like you understand what police deal with, that police are profoundly affected by all the madness they see. Do you think you could do this job? many ppl think they can and many don't make it past the first year.

Awesome video and so true for every officer in any country. We are profoundly affected by the job we do and the ordinary person can not understand they way in which we are hardened because of the things we see and that we have to be hardened to do the job we do. Very few people appreciate what we do and this video might go some way to help them understand.
