the song is sad. this aong is a total reflection of Cody if he ever travles back in time, when he was a hero, before his counltess,pointless fighting. Dont ya'll think?

I'm guessing this is what Shimomura did for the game. It's the most distinct sounding.

One of the best games ever to be made, i miss the good ol' days when I player this as a little kid, and this was one of my favorite tracks! Great upload dude

No offense to the composers of this great arcade, as much as I love all the OSTs from this game, this ending is the only track that could be more fitting to a "guy game".
I would prefer Derek & the Dominoes' "Layla Piano Exit" IMO. I could jam seeing Haggar hug Jessica then see Guy & Cody walk off.
