Great popcorn film for a late-night television viewing, which was likely the ABC Movie of the Week.

  • It's really a pleasure to see two such seasoned actors as Culp & Wallach going head-to-head in this well-crafted tale, steeped in suspicion & paranoia. While they're supposed to be two very intelligent guys, it's amazing how rapidly their relationship turns sour. Why the Spelling Company allowed "Satan's School For Girls" to be released on DVD, and not "A Cold Night's Death", I'll never understand. (Okay, fine, I know. There are no 1970s female heart-throbs anywhere to be seen in this flick.)

  • I like how he runs to open the closing door.He dont want to freeze to death like that other guy! And notice how the filmmaker keeps showing the names on the monkey cages? Clue! And why does Frank pretend hes asleep? Hes paranoid even before the monkeybusiness begins.

  • What the heck is food deprivation ?

  • 1:13 Didn't that window open from the inside (to) out? remember they had to clear the snow away from the outer wall of the building to close it (or is that another window?)

  • I'd be so afraid those simians would rip my face off.

  • That place is really creepy at night and during the day.
