  • IMHO any video posted of oneself on youtube is an excercise in narcism. My personal choice would be to have something entertaining to say or offer up a topic for discussion rather than minutes and minutes of watching someone show us the pipe he or she is smoking and then ramble on. Unless of course the ramblings are about guitars, dinosaurs, philosophy, politics, space exploration or dwindling resources. Then I'm all about it. Happy puffing.

  • @mknchng Thanks, Son.

  • First I got a kick out of your video and liked it with one exception. That Claw is coloring beautifuly and I would have liked to see it longer and have you tell us what brand, How long you have been coloring it and do you add wax? Jason

  • @JJJUSCFAN8 Hi Jason, It's the CAO signed Beckler that you encouraged me to start smoking about 4 or 5 months ago. I'll show it better in my next video. I just started adding wax.

  • I view my YT subscribers as real friends. Friends who can't be here with me in person, to do things or share things with. Therefor, since we share the common bond of being pipesmokers, there will always be that element included in my videos but I also like to share activities and things that I enjoy, where I INCLUDE pipesmoking in the activity, like fishing or camping for example. I just don't have enough pipe related stuff to say or show to be an active member of the community on just that.

  • @Charredbriar Hi Ken, Your videos are always informative and entertaining whether pipe related or not. There are some in the community that make videos with zero content and seem to just want to see their face on the screen. As I told Flieger, I think a psychologist would have a field day watching our community's videos. LOL

  • I enjoy your videos. I certainly love that pipe. I try to make informative videos myself, not just ramble on. Book reviews, etc, My last one was on my favourite pipes.Another was on my collections, watches and pipes. Keep 'em coming Pops.

  • I think there's definitely some narcissism involved in filming oneself doing anything, in fact I tell myself every time I turn on the damn camera that a normal person wouldn't be doing something like this hahaha. Glad some people do, though.

  • Very good point. And a valid one :)

    Happy Puffing Pipepops !

  • @oldpipepops Thanks for the support, Pops! I know there's a few out there that don't feel the way you do...I've got wind of their viewpoints but you can't please everyone I guess... :)

    Ken

  • @oldpipepops They sure did!
