Ray Parker Jr. playing "The Other Woman" on the WGN Morning News, filmed in Chicago, IL on the morning of October 9, 2008. The video begins with footage of the Ghostbusters music video featuring Ray Parker Jr., Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson. This is followed by a brief interview segment which Ray Parker Jr. tells the story of the conception of the Ghostbusters song and how it came to be. After the interview we are treated with a segment of Ray Parker Jr. singing "The Other Woman", his 1982 radio hit. The song was abruptly cut by WGN and immediately went into commercial. When the commercials stopped, the news moved on as usual. The reason for this is unclear at the moment.

  • @Masterphonic If you had a defining moment or action in your life. One that solidified the knowledge of your existence for generations to come; would you have a bad attitude when someone asked you about it?

  • IT STILL GOT IT.....ILL BE THE OTHE WOMAN

  • He sounds like Steven Tyler

  • Wow! Sounds exactly the same as he did over 20 years ago. Thanks for posting.

  • I'm loving this stripped-down version. Classic song.

  • Started off Ray's solo career. An answer song to, 'Jessie's girl'.

  • Ray appears happy. He can still sing. I will remember him for "Still in the Groove" and "For Those Who Like To Groove."

If he is happy, I'm happy for him. Good to see him.

  • Wow, if you look at the weather report at the bottom last year on October 9 it was 70 degrees. This year it's cold as hell.

  • News Flash; no one cares.
