Bass player for the band Hey Monday, Jersey loves Squier because it looks pretty, is lighter than most basses which is perfect for live performances, and is customized with one knob for easy playing. The Rumble 60 amp he pairs it with gives him the pokey, punchy sound he wants.

  • Who the hell upgrades (or downgrades) from Fender to Squier? O_O

  • He should get a Warwick instead.

  • this is so bad

  • What do this reviewer and a pair of pliers with a tip bent to a U have in common? They're both worthless tools.

  • jeez, what a poof.

  • @Ramones3775 thank you.. i dont know who uses a damn squier when your playing proffesionally.. you obviously are a true musician... i agree with everything you said 100%

  • who buys a bass at Best Buy??????

  • I swear to god people in famous bands today don't put the time or effort in their signature models today they just rip out the tone nob put in shitty pickups and paint it a weird color and sell it for $300. Also I did not use the word musician because u can't pay me enough to call this asshole one

  • @taufoofar The answer is: one that buys a 2010 american deluxe 5 string and when he gets it, the pickups are not quiet like they say, the G string does not stay in tune with relationship to the rest of the strings, and the over all sound whether active or passive was generic ; and when I purchased my Squier modified jazz bass V, using youtube as a guide, with the bass just being in passive mode with no active electronics it sounded like a jazz bass with a low b. A 300 bass vs 1600?
  • O.o what the frig is a "punchy-pokey" sound?

  • "..Jersey loves Squier because it looks good.." Yeah, because that is totally the most important factor when picking out a bass. (obvious sarcasm)
