@philipatoz I don't know about the others, but I love rock music and disco combos with rock riffs are awesome. And I don't even like dancing music much. You can make some pretty funky riffs/beats, which can even connect rock, disco and funk. Blondie, for example, they have Heart of Glass which is great. And The Shadows are their own class, absolutely brilliant.

@whiskeyjack59 I'm sure there's mutual respect on both sides. I love Hank Marvin's tone and phrasing. Very grateful recording technology was good back then so we can enjoy this stuff. I always have time for Cream as well, Clapton sounds so good.

@whiskeyjack59 Perhaps they borrowed from Clapton? This looks early 80's and the bass line is disco which means post 1978. layla was 1970. Both are great.
