@demoniser - Bruce Dickinson still sounds great almost 30 years after joining Iron Maiden. Now Rob Halford is another story. Decades of singing without proper training or doing pre-show warmups he has systematically diminished his ability to sing clean, high notes. Halford is a "hit or miss" vocalist now. One show he sounds awesome, the next show he's sounds like shit. He's lost a lot of his belting range. Same goes for Coverdale, Mark Slaughter and Geoff Tate. They've all lost their "mix".

@mckennal1851 - why not? The guy was my singing IDOL in the 80's but he's now a pale shadow of himself vocally. He still has a great voice but over time he has not maintained it and the result is loss of his upper range. Shame.

I was visiting my uncle and I went to see WARRIOR opening for LOUDNESS at The Trubador , I was 16 and caught a ride home from some dudes by the dudes ,who just happened to be a warrior roady, GOOD TIMES, especially the after party!!! I often wonder where they went... Lyrically, political meshed with alien invasion, WOW it was a special moment walking on the beach 16 thinking This is my life....
