Donkey Kong Country 3 (GBA): Pacifica: Stormy Seas

Stormy? No

Seas? No

Another shallow lake while cruising the boardwalk esque level at night...that's it. The water is different and the background shows some small waves, but there isn't even any wind to provide resistance, no lightning to impede your trek, nothing except to avoid enemies. Had me thinking I couldn't go in the water or just avoid crashing waves from the background since they have you so high up above the water. Forget none of that, a rather bland level if you ask me...also riddled with LAG!

ok so maybe not ALL of the GBA version's OST sucks... I do like "Water World" in this one (remix of original DKC underwater theme) and Arich's theme.

Retro Studios said that before development of Donkey Kong Country Returns, they played EVERYTHING Donkey Kong to get a feel for the type of game they're making. This includes the Game Boy games. I think they might have been inspired by this level for the stormy ocean level with the big octopus. We all know that really is a Stormy Sea. Personally I hope there are more DKC 3 elements like the map with some free roaming, Mountain levels, bobsleds and antigrav pipe levels!

Dude next time in the title put like (in anything related to this) level 1 and 2. Idc about the title and show the map for like 2 secs. That way i dont have to hunt for the levels in order.
