  • Beautiful: the Tone, the Chops, everything! Is that a Carvin Holdsworth Signature Model, by the way?

  • @312chicagoadam A Holdsworth model, I wish. lol. It's a Carvin ae185. I've been receiving Carvin's mail order catalogs for 20 years and always wanted one of their guitars, so when I saw this used one on sale at Guitar Center, I grabbed it quick. Thanks for the compliment, I appreciate it! Good luck with the contest yourself.

  • mmmm I like it, very relaxing ideas.... good luck man

  • @openmind1984 Thanks for the encouragement. The contest was a good excuse to push myself to get creative again. Hopefully, Wallimann will have more contests in the future. Good luck yourself.

  • I did enjoy that. I will pray for you to win. ;)

  • @dewinthemorning Pray? Oh yeah... nice one. Next you'll probably tell me that you're going to slaughter a goat and dance around the pagan maypole for luck. Now that I think about it... considering the competition, that might not be such a bad idea. :)

  • Playing was excellent! but i think the tone could have been softer!

  • @6stringbadger Consider it done, if it's so important. If 'Our Father' doesn't do anything though, it's not my fault, I am not a sinner. ;) You'll have to accept that he needs a little sleep sometimes, considering how many prayers He has to answer.

  • @MrUnscientific You play? Video, video! You never "complete" your music education, it's an ongoing process. I learned the basics of reading music about 7 years ago and I just started getting semi-serious about learning my scales and modes within the last year. Save your money on the "idiots guide". There's tons of free resources on the internet. Just remember: if you play something wrong, just play it twice and then people with think that you did it on purpose. :-)

  • @ToldCurkey I jam with my little brother sometimes, but I haven't played in a band in almost 20 years. Hopefully I'll stay motivated and continue recording. Thanks for the compliment.
