I know when you are really infatuated with someone, it is hard to let go of those feelings. But if after a month, the other person does not feel the same way, you will have to let it go. Put some distance between yourself and the guy or girl you are interested in. Then, after a few months, you could be friends with this person. But really not until then. Because it will take that long to begin looking at your crush objectively. And pretty soon you will wonder why you were ever interested in him/her in the first place!

  • I had a crush on a guy for three years. Sometimes you can't just let it go. It's not as easy as it sounds, especially when you can't avoid them because they go to your school. You can't help who you fall for :(

  • I dunno about the 1 month thing =/ I had a long crush (about 11 months now) for a while nothing did happen (I was the one giving him all my attention and he didnt notice or he just didnt like me at the time), but after a while the person I liked started liking me back and then started giving me attention the same way I did before =X

  • Sigh, I've really liked this girl since September, we r friends, we talked a lot, we hung out a lot of times, she smiles when I see her but.... Idk, she seems... Quiet, she doesn't really give eye contact anymore, she only talks a little and... It seems she's avoiding me... I didn't do anything... I just hope we can be more than friends... I... Hope it's not over...

  • I heard that if you have a crush on the same person for more than 4 months that it could be something more..............

  • I have liked the same girl since 4th grade. Now being a sophomore im highschool i still just can't let go.

  • @rosalielove11 true I have been having a crush for this woman for over two years now, I do rarely see her, but it sometimes feels like the crush is disapearing, but then it kinda comes back, she knows that I like her, I did not tell her directly, but I did give her hints in a way, hopefully the crush will dissipate, time will tell, but for now I do care about this person in some capacity,

  • @Jujisan007 agreed! I think a month is an awfully short time to just give up on a crush, (just my opinion, though). I crushed on a guy once for about 6 months and then he finally asked me out and we did date for a while. I know people who crush on someone, give up, date others, and sometimes get back together with their original crush! If it's meant to be, love will always find a way, you can't really judge. People experience love in all different ways and there is no timetable or "right" way.

  • i have a crush who goes to my same school! but i can't let him go.. and he never talks to me :( plus at the beginning of the year he was rlly flirty with me but now he doesn't even talk to me... so i dont know i i should just let him go... </3 i've been in love wth him for 6 months.

  • @rosalielove11 I know right!! And now i have a class with the guy i've had a crush on for a year! :/ The semester has only been started for two days and i'm so nervous in that class.

  • @Jujisan007 so how;s it going now? :p

  • for me this stuff doesn't work. I've had a crush on one guy for about 4 years, and everytime I kinda get over him I fall for him all over again

  • umm i thought you were gonna give us advice..
