If you were born in 1985 then you missed most of the eighties. I grew up in the Eighties and it was a great decade to be a kid.

I saw Robotech for the first time in 1987.

In 1990 I got my hands on the original episodes of SDF Macross, the original Japanese series, so much better than Robotech the American version.

I love the 1st series with Rick. So much better than Superdimensional Fortress Macross, which picked up in the middle of the story, so you had to guess at what happened before. The series was the best and only got better as it grew into the other 2 series.

Years 1982-1984 were better.
