@KlinksDaveman Yeah but dachshunds should never be in the cold for too long, they get very cold ! I personally always put a sweater on my doxie when i take her for a walk. I made the mistake of not doing that once and she would not stop shivering!

I see she got used to her booties. My Dachshund is always cold, He loves the summer when it's hot outside. In the winter, he lies in the doorway of the hall and lets the sun warm him.

@KlinksDaveman my dachshund freezes in 40 degree weather, they are tiny dogs and need better warmth : )

weiner dog are created for anytype of weather there hunting dog use to hunt badgers they are pretty strong never under estimate theyr abilities

In fact, I REGRET not getting my dog a coat and boots when we lived in Alaska because she wouldn't even go to the bathroom sometimes and I would have to carry her back and forth until summer D: So yeah. Those coats are useful, bro.

@KlinksDaveman that "Fur Coat" doesn't always keep them warm enough, especially in -55 weather!
are you warm enough when you're all bundled up in your "warm" coat, at -55?? I didn't think so.
