From my site, http://www.lookgreat-loseweight-savemoney.com, skin brushing is a quick, natural way to take care of your skin. Skin brushing helps improve the skin by exfoliating dead skin cells and helps improve immunity by cleaning toxins out of your body. • great video, i will start this tomorrow after i purchase the brush.. lets see if i notice any improvements :)

  • @fawahbawah I noticed that my skin had gotten very dry in certain places over the summer, even though I slather on lotion all the time. I started skin brushing again and in these dry places, my skin showed noticeable improvements immediately. Its amazing how getting rid of the dead skin cell build up, can renew and invigorate your skin. The bonus of course is that you're improving lymphatic flow. Hope it works well for you too! XO Carolyn

  • This is a great video and informative. I learned some new things. The raw food lifestyle usually recommends skin brushing as part of self-care. I started skin brushing, but didn't understand the benefits of it at the beginning.

  • @WellnessDetective Thanks so much for letting me know it helped you understand the benefits. They are many! I've just started skin brushing again after being a slacker for a while. It really helps my skin look better and makes me feel good about getting rid of toxins in my body. XO Carolyn

  • @notaditdot nice comment, it is clear to me why women live longer because they generally appreciate each other and freely share information and help to live more healthy lives...you just don't see many guys doing that! :)

  • you have a cute belly button :)

  • @piefrance Agreed! Its OK to question things. In fact, I encourage it. Of course there are different techniques for dry brushing, although this is the only one I know. It keeps it simple and it works like a charm for me. I would suggest doing a google search and seeing what else is out there. For example, I was taught to massage towards the heart always, but some people teach massaging away from the heart. (Indian cultures I believe) Literally, its different strokes for different folks! XO

  • @notaditdot OK, we'll just agree to disagree - maybe I'm missing something though. Are there different ways to do the brushing for lymphatic drainage? I do dry brushing, but mainly for the effects on the skin.

  • @piefrance I just know what I read. Google the inguinal nodes. Read about TCM. Your answers are there. I am not going to go back an forth on this. Its the way I was taught to do it and its worked for the Chinese for thousands of years. Who am I to argue with them? Have a great day!
