VC ~ Blake's Book Recommend Thread, Led Zeppelin + Words//Thoughts of the VC ~ Enjoy

Hello Everyone/ Fellow VC Members PLEASE READ:

I tried to make a few suggestions for Blake and everyone else as far as the books that I have read. I seem to always forget something and I actually did forget to show a few books and say a few things that I wanted to say. But I hope you got the gust of the video anyways.
I am catching up with the thread responses and cannot wait to show some new vinyl. Time has been my enemy lately. I still want to respond to Sir Fred's, Memphis Vinyl Jim's, Zach's, Jeff's and Ade's {Pudsi} threads. They will be next.


I hope you are all doing well. The VC is getting larger and larger and more popular everyday among vinyl collectors like ourselves. Isn't it just fantastic? Thanks for watching and I will see you in your videos~

I was really interested in the fact that Stevie Winwood was the first vocalist choice. I just found that out. I guess he turned them down because he was off doing his thing to create a band - which would be Blind Faith. Great music history type stuff. Wonderful. ~ mphsVinylJim & the Mrs

I think you showed or talked about Blind Faith recently didn't you? I apologize if you did not. Oh, I wanted to thank you and the missus for sharing your friendship with me. I only know your wife from the comments that she makes but she sounds lovely. I cherish these new relationships that I am making and hope to continue them for years to come.I see some sort of get together in the future for sure.

Thanks again and I really mean that Jim. Yes I am a Catholic and I went to parochial schools for the first 12 years of my life. I went to St.Mary's for 8 years and Archbishop Williams high school for 4 years. I truly believe that my catholic upbringing molded me into a more {without bragging} caring and loving Christian. I think that we would have been great friends if we grew up together.

I have let my faith slip a little but I never stop believing in God. Thanks a million,

Rob! What up?! Surprised you didn't mention the Hammer Of The Gods book.... Well said on the VC and it's value. I also have started to wonder where all of our non-posting members are and if they're okay.

Hi David, I tried to get in touch with a lot of older VC members but they did not answer me. I noticed that there was no action on their You Tube pages as well. I will keep trying.

As far as the Hammer Of The Gods book goes, it was a little bit too fabricated and also bashed a bit by each band member. I tend to go with the writers who were in the core of the touring crew like Richard Cole. He was their road manager and never missed a show until 1980. He wrote Stairway to Heaven.

@Paneeks1960 Hmmm didn't know that book as so hotly contested by the band, although I'm sure a lot of books are "souped up" to sell more copies.

@Paneeks1960 No need to say anymore about me, Rob! Just seeing the others enjoying the sleeves is "enough said!" BTW: you really need to break free of that time limit thingie... just register or do whatever you need to do to open that up. I remember it being pain free.  And then your videos will be much more relaxed!
