  • Hello, I have Multiple Sclerosis (chronic progressive) and the pheresis catherer was just placed in my main artery this past Friday 10 February 2012. I will begin treatment on Monday every other day, for a total of 6 maybe 7 treatments total. I'm praying all goes well. Thank you for posting your journey. I am afraid but I know this is something that may help my autoimmune disorder. I've tried all others but the chemo-treatments.

  • @holla2phatlilsis I will be praying for you! Please be careful to stay away from people that are sick and wash your hands a lot. Carry hand sanitizer actually attached to either a belt or on your pants somewhere. Not in your purse or bag its easy to forget you have it there. Protect your line and if the bandage starts to peel off even just a tiny bit, have a nurse re-dress it! Good luck let me know if there is anything I can do,

    Nina

  • Spectra Optia!

  • @TacticalHobo27 Thats right! It was in my hospital room for two months. On the side of it was a big name that read "TOBE" so everytime I would get a treatment I would say hook me up Tobe! haha kinda sounds crazy of me to be talking to a machine but whatev lol.

  • I am new to you tube and wanted to say that I think you are very brave and have a great additude for what you have had to go through.

  • @potsiemommy Thank you :)

  • @AmazingGrace162 what condition have you that lead you to this? If I may ask.

  • I was diagnosed with pemphigus vulgaris which is an autoimmuned disorder. This treatment is being considered for my illness. Is it as bad as it looks? I'm scared.
