Arlen Roth... The only man whom can combine "pedal-steel bending" tones and country licks with Barney Kessel style chord comping and the occasionally "greasy sounding" ZZ Top Texas Blues... Blend it seamlessly, make it look effortless... And still be one the Greatest Guitarists Unknown.

@capitalismforme Vince Gill can play the fiddle. I saw him play it with my own eyes. Wariner is indeed a great guitar player. I don't care if you can play the guitar better than I can - you are totally missing the point. Bird and Trane didn't play the violin, and to my knowledge neither did Miles, and they are tons better musicians than you'll ever be, there little fiddler on no one's roof. Grow the hell up, man, you're embarrassing yourself.

@ThreeChordGuitar go learn to play the violin then. I can play your instrument probably much better than you can. Go learn to play the violin if you think its so simple :) vince gill can't play the fiddle. Steve wariner is a much better guitarist.

@capitalismforme i don't know if you are truly that conceited, or if you're trolling. Either way, it doesn't reflect well on you. Violin players are not superior to guitar players or any other musician simply by virtue of playing the damn fiddle. Get over yourself. And what about Vince Gill? He sure can play a mean guitar, and the fiddle too. You make no sense. You're just vitriolic and bitter-sounding. Sad, really.
