-
Did you shoot in Squeeze or Letterbox? or did you convert to 16:9 from standard?
-
I thought 16:9 is letterboxed with the dvx100, why do I not see the two horizontal bars?
-

Hey, did you do anything special to get the image this crisp? I have been looking at many dvx100a footage shots. This is one of the nicest ones. How?
Do you have any idea, how it ended up on HD please?and what software you used?

I used iMovie to make it. Apparently if you go into the settings before you export the video, you can change the size settings. This was the one and only time I've used iMovie, so I'm sure exactly, but if you go into the video settings you should see what to do.

I looked on the Panasonic website for it, found it, but in the Operating Instructions, it said it only records on tape. Can you tell me how you got it on your computer?

You just connect the camera to the computer via Firewire and upload it using a video transfer program such as Final Cut, iMovie, Windows Movie Maker etc...

I got the camera before I purchased Final Cut and used iMovie to edit it. I guess while exporting, it was converted to an HD format or something. I'm not really sure what happened, but you're right, the DVX100a is standard def.
