  • Update: turbo was definitely on its way out. Replaced it with a k04 and I took off the housing for the k03 and there was very minor damage on the compressor wheel. Something probably got in there.

  • turbo R.I.P

  • yessir that sound is the beggining of the end

  • When the turbo starts to whine excessively it's usually because the bearings inside of the turbo have seized up. Causing it to whistle. Thats what happened with our van :)

  • turbo death whine.... :(

  • @Viking445 thatsuxbro.jpg :(

  • than thank God I have 100,000 miles with APR stage 1 since 27,000 and still don't sound like this. Turbo give me more miles...

  • @staulkor damn my csrt4 makes the same exact noise. took it all apart theres a little ding in the compressor wheel and minor shaft play. kinda sucks

  • wow, mine sounds EXACTLY the same. UCKF!!!!!!!

  • yeah, my buddies turbo did that when he found out his blade was tweaked causing it to sound just like a dentists drill while he drove haha

  • I'm not whining yet, but I'm waiting for the day considering I'm running stg2+.
