Asman takes up half the time with his diatribe prior to introducing Dr. Paul and not one word about the Republican brand of socialism practiced to perfection by George W. Bush during his eight years as Chief Executive. In that time, Bush federalized the education system, gave $15 billion dollars to Africa for aids intervention and bailed out the banks and auto industries to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars. Some conservative his was.  With the democrats at least, one expects it.

Is it politically incorrect to use the word "COMMUNIST" ? Or did they forget to ask the public about it. LONG LIVE THE COMMUNIST PARTY, LONG LIVE OBAMA , LONG LIVE OUR NEW U.N. WORLD ORDER. Congratulations to everyone who helped achieve this huge evolution of our human race. Poverty is Great, Serfdom is amazingly cool, and everyone should stop breathing. You are creating 2 much CO2. @CurtHowland What's the point? Drawing distinctions between fascism, mercantilism, communism, socialism is like debating about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin. They are all isms used to justify the enslavement of the masses. They are all "top down" political-economic systems controlled by elites. Communism is the most brutal and exclusive. It cannot last long. That's because it needs a productive sphere - somewhere on the planet - to subsidize its insanity.

If you value free-market capitalism, you should really be more angry with "corporatists" than "socialists." Most Americans know what socialism is and would never accept it (as the threat is obvious), but it is the "corporatists" and the "crony-capitalists" who are dishonest in destroying free-market capitalism. They pretend to be capitalists and Americans let their guard down, discovering later that it was not capitalism at all. Then, democrats blame capitalism, for "capitalism's" failures.
