This first retailed at $9000 but due to the fact it sold almost none, they reduced it to $2000 and the discontinued it less that half a year later.

i heard that 10 of these were sent to Australia, 1 was on display at the apple store in Sydney, 2 of these were sent to 2 people as prizes and the remaining 7 were sent to Apple store executives. I hope the guy who sent you this MAC used to work for Apple!
