Because the adventurers of the King's Quest series are incapable of swimming properly, avoiding moat monsters, and navigating cliffs.

  • I don't get it. what happened in the last footage? The character gave tickets to go in a cave and died? /:(

  • Gate to the underworld.

  • thats one dead moose

  • Too much Magicka.

  • I remember my first experience with Sierra. Leisure Suit Larry 1 in 87. I could barely read English and there I was trying to survive, with unforgettable moments like dying from not using a condom, or getting beat up/die for walking in an alley, etc. Sierra adventures were notoriously hard to the player in terms of how easy it was for the player's character to die.

Still, they were great games for the time.

  • My first Sierra games were the King's Quest and Space Quest series. I also got Leisure Suit Larry 1 when it went to the point-n'-click interface. Good times.

And yes, they were great at the time. Even today, they still are.

  • ... Oooook.

  • Dw reminds me of Brian griffin 0.o

  • Actually I quite enjoy the King's Quest series... it's just difficult and there are LOTS of ways you can die in it. To be fair, in KQ6 you get caught by an undertow, in KQ1 there's a moat monster, and in KQ2 I just didn't tell Graham to swim (it's a parser game).
