No one sang this better than Hamlet Gonashvili, and song is actually called Tsintskaro, means the front river or along the river.

Herzog's version amplifies the original.
His direction of Kinski, and Kinski's performance- are staggering.
Best inhuman / human performance ever.
He never blinks and his hands are spiders.

Beautiful, I love this film and this music

Frightening and compelling, a standard setter for vampire film and literature -- as was and still is the 1922 original
