I recently picked up this strat and I think it's a good mid-level strat for players who like the SRV style. I'll explain why in this video. Download the backing tracks here: http://www.steviesnacks.com/lessons/backing-tracks/

  • Hey Anthony, I'm wanting to take guitar lessons and I have a regular strat. I love Fender strats. I'm a huge blues fan and KWS is one of my top three favorite blues guitarists. Would a KWS strat be good for a beginner or would this guitar be for someone more advanced?

  • @bluesrockfanatic Honestly the things that make this strat good might not be a factor for you until you learn more about this style of playing. If you get into the SRV style, eventually you'll appreciate bigger frets, and a fatter neck, but for now, it might not make that much of a difference.

  • Hey I'm really wanting to create my own "Lenny" or "Frankenstrat" and i saw this and i really like the design of the guitar and the finish. I have an RG2550 but i want a guitar with SRV tone so i was thinking about maybe getting this body or guitar and putting some vintage 59 to early 60's pickups in it like Stevie had himself. I wanted to know what you thought. Please write back. Thanks and great videos

  • @Ericclapton325 I'd spring for a set of Lindy Fralin's if you can afford it.

  • Did you have any issue on your fender with the size of the saddles pushing the high e off of the side of the fret board. I have heard this comment a few times and now am experiencing it myself.

  • @flipside1974 I have had this problem with every strat I play.

  • what's the name of the song in the end??

  • You could drop $750 for an American Highway One, why would you buy this? It's cool but my HWY1 is much better. Also I bought a John 5 Squier Telecaster for $380 that kicks this guitar's ass.

  • love your ending solo too... Is it from one of yyour lessons? which one?

  • Hi, very good. How much is this. is this in fender custom shop. thanks

  • One of my students brought one of the over last night, the trem bar socket was *leaning back toward the body, frist time I've ever saw that on a strat, the low E tuning gear was crooked as it was affixed to the headstock, the saddles were all funky tilting this way and that and there was some string buzz here and there...the neck was straight but had some bow...now the good...the intonation was pretty good..the graphtec saddles are awesome...I have to get me some..overall, disappointed $ lemon

  • that guitar is made in japan something or mexican

  • I dont know weather or not to get this or the american standard

  • Two things Anthony. had already purchased your 5 Essential Blues Boxes set and just received the 5 Essential Blues Licks. Outstanding video work and instruction.

Secondly: Thanks to your video on the KWS, I went out and purchased one of my own after playing it at local Fender dealer. Thanks again
