@thecolaratlady We're an Army family, and that's why we prefer to live off base. It's like having your house surrounded by everyone you work with 24/7. :)

I dont live far from Fort Carson, 1 day we had to take my nephew to the base hospital b/c his mom was taken there when she suffered a seizure. Alot of military ppl i've known over the yrs said that they preffered offbase housing, i asked them why and they told me that it's like you never leave work..any truth to that or sorta?

Fort Carson needs to build its own high school.
You get people that come in all the time cause of military and bitch/complain about how they dont like it here ect. and it ruins the experience for those that are natives to the area.
