@dumb7890 If only I was old enough to buy firearms 15 years ago.
-
@workensmart 15years ago you could get one new in the box for $89.
-
@YoshiFan100 I got mine last year. The Russian SKS is nice but they go for like 500+ now were I live.
-
@workensmart When did you buy it? A few years ago they were dirt fucking cheap. You could find crates full of them for 200-300-ish. Now, it's a bit more. It's price is a bit doubled-ish.
Besides, our's is Russian. Those Russian ones are really good; get them if you can. They're well worth the money.

@YoshiFan100 Thanks but I got a Yugo M59/66 A1 SKS a while ago for $380 its like brand new. I think I like it more then my AK. Mine has the Blond wood stock which is harder to find.

@workensmart $500-ish. We got a pimped out one for $600.

Thanks, that was a pretty helpful video. i was just wondering, can you clean all those parts with any ordinary gun oil/lubricant? because i have a browning "first shot" gun oil and hoppes 9 lubricant oil.

I would imagine you could, you just might have to scrub more. Before I use gun oil though, I use Hoppes 9 Powder Solvent. It works well at getting dirt off of the parts. After I get all of the parts clean, I apply a light coating of oil, I use CLP, but any will do.
