Department 56 Snow Village

My 2008, Department 56 Original Snow Village. Very similar to my last video except several new buildings and accessories. Also, the camera quality has been improved. The train is the Polar Express.

it's only 6 november, and i'm already looking forward to christmas, because i love snow and christmas lights, and wish that someone would built a real village as in the video, because i would love to spend the holydays there. i'm also sure that i would attract millions of people, so why didn't someome came up with the idea to built a christmas theme park?

I like the way you have the figurines interact with each other and relate to the buildings. That adds to the unique flavor of your own village and adds tons of personality.
Good filming technique. Slow, steady and low to the ground.
And you got a LOT of buildings in this set-up. Wowee wow wow.

Great job. I love when there are trains with the villages. I could look at them all day.

What did you use as your base for your village? I am wondering too what you used for the snow it looks so great. You did a wonderful job......Merry Christmas!

@whatchinthetube The Bases is a combination of wood, foam, and fold out tables. The top two levels (houses) are wooden tables that we built. The levels below those are fold out tables that you can buy at home depot. We used foam (also bought at home depot) to create the different elevations. The snow is department 56's fresh fallen snow, we also used cotton to fill the larger areas. Merry Christmas

I set up my own village every year and seeing your display just blew me away!!! Every detail is absolutely perfectly done. How many year has it taken you to aquire everything??

I love the little camera man and reporter figurines. Where did you get those along with the Lionel train building??

Ebay for both
The camera man and reporter is Department 56 "News Flash"
And the Lionel is just called Lionel.
