Reluctant Activists

In the past, Jehovah's Witnesses have stood up for their beliefs, even if it meant going to court or jail. Today, many people have more individual rights because of the past trials of the Jehovah's Witness community.

@trailerfitter2 Jehovah did not give them orders or permission to rape. However, the cannanites were judged wicked and worthy of destruction. Jehovah is the judge of the earth..and his standards are high. the cannanites were practicing child sacrifice, sex worship, beasitality, etc. They were an abomination. As for religions record? I agree. False religion has caused much suffering..in fact, the bible says she is resonsible for all those slaughtered upon the earth.

@brofun We have laws which punish for the crimes you have just listed unlike text in the bible from the old testiment which even Moses gave permission to rape kill and steal in the name of god...Please do not lecture me with double standards.Humanity demands that we treat each of morally now unlike religion which has a track record as big as Genges Khan and Hitler. @trailerfitter2 Do you feel that you should have the right to rape?..kill?..steal?..abuse others? Do you think that if someone does something like that they should be punished? Jehovah is the same. We have much freedom..but not the freedom to practice what is wicked in God's eyes. He has standards..and the choice is not life in paradise and life in a burning hell..it is simply life or death. If you don't want to live by God's laws, you lose out on life without end..and without suffering.

and not just in United States where jehovah's witnesses face oppositions, it is in every country that they see us as a threat or a problem just because we don't follow human's believes. Just as simple as that.
