Obama's plan from the beginning is to bankrupt the coal industry and tax oil companies to death, and when he talks about the affordability of "green energy", he means that it'll be affordable compared to the skyrocketing costs of oil. His energy secretary said, "Somehow, we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe."
