Been a fan since the EP, still love this band, but Degarmo's absence is painfully obvious these days! Together, Geoff and Chris were the perfect writing team, but the lyrics and Melodies have not quite measured up to the standards this band set many years ago. You take 50% of Bill Gates money away and he is still a wealthy man, just not as powerful!
It's true that Degarmo was fantastic, but that new guitar player has a different style of playing and a different voice too. In my opinion, this is correct that he isn't a Degarmo replica.
This is Mike Stone? He can't handle the vocal harmonies. Geoff Tate used to have a vocal foil in Chris DeGarmo, now the band is vocally incomplete. No DeGarmo, no Queensryche.
