  • i never see acid lab folks using spectralis , are there reasons for this ?

also did you have green LED's in your 303 before?

great tune by the way please post more videos keep it acid

    :)

  • @sirpryde to me acid is 303, spectralis is a great synth, a little too much "multi-use" im not a fan of machines that do everything (percussion, drums, synths, bass), so i've got to try the spectralis, great amazing sound but not for me.

Yes i had 303 with red, blue, green and white leds, never had problems and always changed them on my own with a simple soldering iron.

Thank you for your comment !!!! ;)

  • I have a 606 and a electribe esx. would you then suggest the 909 or the machinedrum. :P

  • @pomfrit93 909 FOR LIFE !!!!

  • very nice! thanks!

  • Sounds great. I cant afford a 303 but Im thinking about getting a xoxbox to go with my machinedrum and er1. Im trying to do what I call "minimal acid" What do you think?

  • Hi i was wondering if u could help me, I need to know how to sync a TB303 with a TR909 using "Deopfer MSY2" (using din sync leads) at the moment i have it setup like this...TR909 midi Sync In to--- MSY2 Sync, TB303 Sync In to---MSy2 2nd available Sync, midi out from PC (usingCubase Essential5) to--- MSY2 Midi In...

I cant seem to have the tr909 & tb303 to stay in tempo sync, 1 or both the tb303 & tr909 keeps gradually fading out of sync, is anyone familiar with this kind of issue?

    Thanks!

  • @Phisheadie97 yeah.. i actually sold the electribe and bought a mpc instead.. ;)

  • @pomfrit93 909 dude. You will NEVER look back. And honestly these days, your best bet would probably be a Jomox 999. That machine can almost clone the 909 and 808 sounds, from the bass drum to the snare hand clap to the cow bell. I own both a 909 and a 999 and they really both are amazing analog machines, you just get more out of the 999.

  • Very nice. Love the old TB 303 sound. So much that I have one in transit to me expected to be here Jan 11, 11! :)

I am totally new to making my own music with these machines although I have been playing bass in a band the past 16yrs. What do you recommend be paired with the 303, that won't break the bank? I did go for a Korg EMX1 SD but I still have the opportunity to send it back under the 30 day warranty. I am looking towards Acid, Detroit, simple, house, style Techno...

  • @Capeau I know, i know... But i can use samples untill i get the real deal.. I rather wanna deal with samples on a mpc than on a pc.. but that is just me..

  • @pomfrit93

but the mpc is a sampling machine, its not the same thing...

  • @Capeau The Mpc 2000XL is the best and right chooise for me at the moment.. I will put my electribe on craigslist and buy a tr 909 when the electribe is gone.. but that will be after christmas.. my style is changing a bit and im more into the oldschool hiphop/detroit techno style.. Mantronix and stuff like that.. Cheers for posting anyways ;)

  • @pomfrit93

depends on what you plan to make?

if you want to make electro/softer techno/minimal then go for the machinedrum for sure.

If you want hard pounding beats, go for a 909.

If you want deep smooth bass that makes the room shake, go for an 808
