A blustery day at the East Lancs winter Gala with 3 black fives on view - 45231, 45407 and 44871. These were joined by standard tanks 80080 and guests SR 4-6-0 850 Nelson and Super D 0-8-0 49395

Thanks Bob. Unfortunately my microphone acted like a sail and picked up the strong bursts of wind, rocking the camera on 2 or 3 clips. I was forced to use my stabilisation software, which coped with it at the cost of some picture quality.

That was a great shot of Lord Nelson at 5:55 there is not many clips of her at speed!

Thanks. She (he?) was trying to make up time after a signal failure at Bury held up all movements for 40 minutes.

Some nice vigorous performances, and some interesting effects with the steam in that wind.

The wind was a real nuisance, not least for giving the camcorder a real buffeting. I would have preferred not to have had those effects!

Nice video , noticed 44871 had lost its front number plate was this to replicate the last days of steam , hope its not a more contemporary theme i,e. metal theft !!
