I think this ad is a good concept and could be done better to greater effect, but as it stands, it doesn't promote one thing or another. If anything it seems to support Nixon a bit more, for example the eagle next to him instead of the star next to McGovern, the later of which makes me think of Communist China.

Why can't liberals in American run an affirmative campaign--like talking about helping workers, stopping war, and lowering taxes on the poor and middle? They are either wishy wishy or, if successful in campaigning, conservatives in liberal clothing like Obama and Clinton.
