  • do you know where I can buy a string mute? or where yo get one?

  • @xxxIamEPIKxxx I make my own, and I've never seen them anywhere else. But they're easy to make--all you need is a strip of adhesive velcro. Cut it into a square and stick a piece of paper on the adhesive side if you want. More info, and close-up photos, on my blog. Google "Easy Guitar Songs for Kids".

  • whats that silver square shape thing on the pickup of the kids guitar

  • A string mute--just a piece of velcro that mutes the 4-1st strings. Makes those power chords easier until Axel's fingers get stronger.

  • @piddlefish if he's only using one finger, to play a power chord, it's in dropped "D" tuning.

  • Hello Rob, I just went to your site and read up on you, maybe the young boy isn't your Son then oh well one would assume especially being it is the first like this I have seen. Guitar teacher in Seattle, I thought that was the Space needle on the little boys shirt lol. Well, I am right across the pond from you here in Sequim. Great job with the kids Rob... Excellent!

  • WOW AWSOME job kid keep your nose clean and do what your doing !!!!!!!

  • I'll be honest, I don't like the arrangement of the song. It sounds much better without drums and bass.

I don't like the singing either, but the kid is cool :)
