I think I do remember us walking backwards and talking in reverse and then he played it forward to get the effect. Does that answer your question? My wife is mad at me for ignoring her. Gotta run. Record yourself saying something.

Reverse the recording. On playback listen carefully to the phonetics and do your best to mimic what's being said. Write it down if possible so you can rehearse it.

Then record yourself reciting what you copied from the original reversed recording.

When you reverse this recording and play it back you will find that you are talking forwards but the sounds will be in reverse.

Very surreal.
