This is my build of the Ray Wilson Music From Outer Space analog sequencer. There are 16-steps with CV and step switch per step. This fits into any format... but that is up to you. The pcb is what you order from MFOS and then you have to source the other parts. Luckily the parts are ALL easy to come by. Thanks goes out to Ray Wilson for making such a cool pcb project available to the DIY community!

  • Great God!!!! Look at the wiring! Man, how come you didn't go insane doing that?!?! I'm seriously thinking on working on RW's 16 step sequencer, but, Christ!, that wiring is sure intimidating! Congratulations for your exceptional work (especially on keeping your sanity together!).

  • I love the layout you've done here. I'm looking to build some modules myself, I'd love to see the rest of the synth in action too!

    for response

  • With all those wires, would it not be worth it to make that module a closed box?

  • It looks like c3po's mid section with all those wires!

  • Rofl! Try building robot interfaces... then complain about amount of rope xD! But nice work dude, lay out is brilliant! The rest of the vids too btw. Nice seq! And again... not intimidating at all heheheheee, merely a fraction I of the rope I have to handle every day looool! ANALOG rulez =D

  • good job ! nice and clean!

  • Yeh building a modular system is a big task, but the rewards are massive in terms of sound.

Great looking sequencer and well done with the wiring. Thanks for showing the "other side".
